It is an amazing achievement for Leicester City to win the Premiership but it is only sport. It is not like "the foxes" have just discovered a cure for cancer or brought peace to the Middle East yet the media is giving us wall to wall coverage and shows no signs of stopping.

The BBC News at Ten coverage of the elections to the costly waste of space that is the Welsh assembly is focussing on the economy. The big issue is apparently Steel and which party is going to spunk the most cash on part nationalising and subsidising an industry that will never ever make a cent in profit. But the BBC says there is an alternative view in the principality. Hooray. I look forward to Huw Edwards interviewing a real capitalist...but this is Wales.

I am not saying that all Brummies are thicker than Benny from Crossroads but it strikes me that he would probably have been among the brighter sparks in his local pub quiz team. I read today about Richella Heeking and Ben Marlow from Sutton Coldfield, who saved up £1200 to go on a lavish break in Las Vegas and turned up to Birmingham airport to find there was no plane.
Er.. slowly it dawned on these two imbeciles that they had booked a flight from Birmingham Alabama as opposed to Birmingham, the post industrial shit-hole on the southern fringes of the great Northern welfare safari.
These idiots insist that it is a common mistake. Yeah right,

What on earth made Keras Resources (KRS) boss Dave Reeves travel thousands of miles from Oz to London, only then to head up to Walsall and what happened in the black country shit-hole? I only ask because Reeves arrived in Walsall on Saturday 9th April to do a presentation after which the shares collapsed ahead of a placing announced today. You may not know much about Walsall other than that it is a post industrial shit hole but let me enlighten you.
